Wrap-N-Mat?

Are these any good? Whenever we go out I'm always using plastic sandwich bags for DDs spoons and I hate it. I thought of using a small wet bag instead or the washable sandwich bags on Jabula, but now I like the idea of the Wrap-N-Mat because it unfolds into a placemat. What does everyone else do/use? Thoughts/opinions please!

I bought 2 of these for my husband and I to use to take sandwiches to work. I think they're brilliant as they save on waste because you don't have to use cling film or other wrapping material all the time. They keep sandwiches really fresh, and if you're sat at a table, they act as a 'plate' to eat them off. :D

We just wash them in the sink each night (my husband does this, but I think he just uses a bit of washing up liquid) and they dry overnight ready to go the next day. The only slight drawback is that if you have a particularly doorstep-like sandwich, you might struggle to get it closed, but even then it'll stretch a bit! We make our own bread, so the slices are pretty large in area and this doesn't seem to cause too much problem.

Hope this helps - I think they're the way forward! :D

Yep, we have lots, have had them for ages. The boys used to take their sarnies in them to school and we use them for picnics, etc. We've either done a wash in the sink or an occasional gentle wash in the machine.

We use them here too - we have had them for about 18 months and dh uses them everyday. They only fit one sandwich in, so he uses 3, and they get a wipe every evening and a proper wash each weekend. Would definatley recommend!

The bags are ok. I don't find them very big though, I tend not to use my Onya bags much. I have 3 other cloth bags that get used almost daily rather than pick up those.

Sorry, meant the sandwich bags, not the Onya bags.
I have an Onya bag, quite like it as it folds up small and attaches to my changing bag/pushchair/handbag or wherever whereas the cloth bags are much bigger when empty :)

Ah, ok, sorry! Yeah, my onya bag sits in my bag, but is used as a spare.
