Has anyone got any tips for home-made stuff that's good for sensitive skin?

My tip is to put a cup of oats (just ordinary ones!) in a muslin and put it in the bath while the hot is running... Makes for a nice moisturising bath and is great for dry skin/eczema... (makes hair soft too!)

Only don't open the muslin until after the bath - or porridge bath!

Bicarb of soda is another that soothes in a bath. Good for thrush, chicken pox etc.

really good! only did it once, and tbh they were a b*gger to get off the muslin, but would certainly use again...might be a good idea to help heal Zacharias poor Tush!

Oh yes - they're a nightmare to get off the muslin - I've yet to find a foolproof method!

Seems like wet or dry they're a pain...

Instead of a muslin pop them in an old pop sock or the foot of old tights.

Good idea...
Still doesn't solve how to clean it afterwards!!!

BTW with the bicarb in the bath for preventing itchyness - how much do you put in!!!

Cheers :)

I'd put in at least a tablespoon, probably more like 1 and 1/2.
