Losing the trees!

Hi all,
I have heard that the forestry commission which is a government department is to be sold off, this could mean that thousands of miles of woodland can be sold off to the likes of centre parks, private companies or even logging companies. If you would like to sign a pettion against the sale you can do so below, and there are some links with some info. I think its quite sad that things of got to this state, that some of the most beautiful and peaceful places where we all spent time as children and have many memories, and where I would like my children to have many happy memories of could be lost.

I've signed it too. It won't be affecting Scotland (unless the Scottish Parliament cut their funding), but I'm appalled that this is happening. It's such a short sighted thing to do.
