Been quite inspired by my parents garden this weekend... Definately going to go and get some plants next week (late in the season I know) and start properly next spring...

I've just been out digging over my veg patch. Although it started really well last year I was heavily pregnant when things needed to be harvested and then with a toddler and a newborn I never got around to it. With all the rain we've had lately I thought it would all be rotten in the ground but I've got a whole bucket of carrots that were OK

Later today I'm going to buy some raised flowerbeds and really nake a feature of it this year. I can't wait!!!! I'm also going to do more pot growing too.

Loved all of your pics. By the way the random plant you dug up is a Hosta and will come up year after year. Beware though as slugs LOVE them. It's almost like a feast for them so get yourself something to get rid of them.
