I'm thinking of cutting my terry squares up to make them, so that's given me an idea of how many I'll get from each nappy :D

Those of you who use family cloth but don't have children in nappies anymore, what's your washing routine? I have a nappy bucket in the bathroom just now and have been toying with the idea of fc too but wondered about washing when we are done with nappies?

I'll probably have either a small plastic bin with a lid by the loo which I'll use for my CSP too, or I'll have a wetbag hung in there, as I'm currently considering getting rid of my nappy bucket and using wetbags instead :)

then do a seperate wash? i just wonder how economical that would be in my huge washing machine. I put my well rinsed csp in with my normal wash but i dont think i would be hand rinsing and doing that with fc :-?

No once I'm not washing nappies at all I'll stick them in with towels and underwear which I always wash at 50 anyway :D

We've got a small plastic bin with lid next to every loo in the house. On washing day I do a rinse in the washing machine and then add other laundry.

for now I totally agree Kirsty! But then i think if i can convert to csp and cloth wipes for baby maybe i will convert to it all one day!

Eta: DH just come out the shop with 2 packs toilet roll!!

I am feeling just the same, so looking forward to see how you get on. It doesn't help that our only loo is tiny and there is no place for a wetbag in there so would have to carry them out and into the next door bathroom :yuk:

Well, I am not going full cloth at the moment. I'm not quite there yet :puke: But not ruling it out for the future!

I am going to hang the wetbags on the back of the bathroom door and the kids one on the door handle so they can reach. Better get them done quick too-they keep coming downstairs armed with used cloth to put in the nappy bin :hohoho:
