Isn't coke supposed to be good for getting limescale off the toilet, I'm sure I read that somewhere.

Dread to think what it's doing to your insides if it can clean cr*p off a loo though :shock: .

I think it is meant to be the pH that makes coke a good cleaner.

Vitamin C soluble tabs are good for cleaning the toilet I read today, pop 2 in and leave overnight.

i use vinegar and lemon juice with sodium bicorbanate down my loo. I also use a bloo tablet in the cistern and that seems to work for me. I leave the vineagar lemon juice and sodium bacarbanate in overnight. I haven't used bleach for about six months. It does seem to work and i live in a hard water area.
