Slings for a summer newborn?

I didn't babywear when my others were little but I want to wear this baby from birth. With Louis I started wearing him at nearly 2 when my MIL made me a gorgeous changing panel mei tai (which I stupidly lost on a train ).

This bub will be born in the early summer and here it can obviously get pretty hot. What would you recommend I look at? If you slinged from birth what did you use and what did you like and not like and why?

I'd normally recommend a stretchy from birth - but in the Australian heat that may be too much.

How about a gauze woven?
They are really light.
Other option would be a ring sling. They can be tricky to get right with a newborn but if you practice then it shouldn't be a problem

Stretchies look so lovely to wear, i think I'll get one of them as well for a tiny it isn't hot every day!

Ring Sling! I absolutely loved using mine from birth and didn't find it hard at all will get pics ....

Gauze wrap (I borrowed a Calin Bleu) or a ring sling.

And wear as little as decently possible underneath!
