Just sent this... What do you think?

Hey honey. I'm so sorry to be a pain but can you cancel the order for the lollipop? I'm really cautious of using a sling that hasn't been certified and rested to the same extent as the moby. There's been a big thing recently about wraps and how dangerous the uncertified ones can be. The moby has been through all the tests to check the material is breathable etc.. And there's nothing online about the lollipop. I'm really sorry honey. We did a lot of research to make sure we were getting the right type. I'm so sorry and really don't want you to think I am being a pain in the arse with this. X

I wouldn't have even been that polite. It's sad that you feel the need to apologise when she was the careless one. Obviously you don't want to loose your friend but at the same time, she must have seen mobys were expensive so I find it very rude and a bit selfish she wants to replace it with something so cheep!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I'm rubbish at confrontation though which doesn't help the situation. X

I think it's sorted. She has said that she's going to look into some.

Id have a look around, maybe find a second hand one or tge best deal in a new moby. Send her a link and say that's the best place to buy. She'll have no option then!

Oh bummer what a horrid horrid situation, I too hate confrontation so really feel for you :cnthug: . I'd be fuming if it had happened to me, that is just not fair to try to fob you off with a cheapie :( I think the text is good and hopefully it can be sorted out amicably. Has she really looked properly fro the original - it seems a bit odd that it would actually be properly lost rather than misplaced in the attic? I like Emily's idea of sending her some links!

I think your message is really fair, to the point without being rude. Hopefully she will now realise!

Lucy, Clean Green Nappy has a sale in on slings and carriers, including a moby and a close caboo if it would help your friend.
