Sling recommendations for teeny tiny baby, please

Postby cuppachaplz » Mon Dec 15, 2014 8:32 am

Hi all.

Talk to me about slings pleas
So many more available since I had Jacob.
We had a wilkinet (which I loved, at least for the first year), and a huggababy ring sling (which I didn't get on with as he was too heavy for it to ever be comfy). Both have come back to me, but I'm not cure rigger is really suitable for tiny, preemie Percy.
At a week old, he has just tipped over 5lb, and loves to be cwtched, so was hoping for some recommendations as feeling list and baffled
Thanks in advance x

Close parent sling was good for my 7lber. I'm pretty sure it would work for smaller too. Can u get to a sling library? If not you can borrow mine

I was going to suggest a close caboo. The benefit of a stretchy sling but really easy to put on.

Eleanor was only 4lb 11oz when she was born.

Stretchy wraps are perfect for teeny tiny babies.

I'd recommend brands like:
Moby
Lenny lamb
Hoppediz
Kari-me
JPMBB - this is more of a hybrid stretchy so would last you longer as you can use on heavier baby's!

I'll dig out a pic of teeny Eleanor in a stretchy!
