Brown blood 4 or7 days before period is due on regular cycle

I am 10 or 11 DPO i think based on OPK.

Early when i went to the bathroom, i noticed there was a far amount of brown blood on my underwear, maybe around the same amount as if i was starting my period, but obviously its brown, my period normally starts of red straight away, this also seems thicker, more of a discharge consistency that period blood consistency (sorry if TMI) my cycles are always 28 or 31 days long, i have never had an early period in my life only ever late when very stressed or something. I noticed this around 5.45 however since then i have put on a pad and there is literally like 2 or 3 spots there and they are pinky brown definitely not red???

Any ideas ladies. I always worry quite a lot as me and DH lost a baby before having our DD

The timing of the blood means that it could be an implantation bleed, this occurs when the egg implants into the womb. So you might be pregnant. Implantation bleeding is a lot less common than people (at least in the infertility community!) seem to think but other than an irregular cycle it's a possible explanation.

I think it sounds like it could be implantation bleeding too. I only had it once and thought af was appearing early but I was pregnant. FC for you

I've had it once when it was implantation spotting. But I also get it most months before af starts.

It turned into full on period, so i was either 4 or 6 days early. Now i am really unsure what to do for this cycle, as far as ttc is concerned, how do i know which cycle length to use for ovulating and how do i know when to test if i dont know my cycle length

Oh hun, sorry it wasn't the news you wanted . I only ever went by monitoring CM when TTC & that always worked for me but am no help re cycles.
