What did you wear in labour?

Last time I was so hot I ended up in the buff. I wouldn't mind a little more dignity this time!

To start with I wore a loose (black - stains are invisible!) maternity nightie that buttoned all the way up the front - kind of a long tshirt with buttons. Though I ended up in the pool with just a soft crop top on...

I can't really remember... I'll go look at the photos!

hospital gown both times

With Oliver a hospital gown, but with Isaac a crop top in the pool and when I got out, I put my huuuge nightie on.

With Josh I think it was a hospital gown. With Louis I was fully dressed, long white maternity t-shirt and long beige maternity skirt

I was naked with Isaiah after getting out of the pool. It didn't occur to me to put something on, I only realized a few days later that I ended up naked! With Asher I wore a dark blue nightie (I think)

With Dd1 my lucky labour nightie
With dd2 I have no idea.... It must have just been the clothes I was wearing as I remember not having time to get my lucky nightie on.
With ds the maxi dress I was wearing and of course my shoes !!!!

Perhaps a vest top would be a good plan for you? Or a strappy maxi dress .... Although that might be too much material.
Perhaps just the top, they tend to put a sheet over your middle anyway don t they.
