Really big training pants?

Postby horsemadgal » Mon May 07, 2012 11:56 am

My son has just turned 3 and is a big boy at about 49lb (22kg I think?)
He outgrew his size 3 and XL cloth nappies well over a year ago. XL Bright Bots are too tight on him.
He is currently potty training and wearing the age 4-7 DryNites pyjama pants. Does anyone make cloth training pants in a similar size? Special need ones maybe?
XL Minki YoYos are also too small, well sort of fit him but he cant pull them up and down so bit pointless.
Would prefer second hand if possible but think very long shot.

Hi Kimmy, yes they do. I already sold my XL Yoyos too, wish I'd known before.
Have ordered a pair of suoper undies, shall see how go with those but think will order the extenders and then look into gettting some second hand Minkis.
Thanks

Just a thought, but do you really need training pants? Lots of people PT without using them at all. I had one pair for DD but she much preferred her Peppa Pig kickers so I could have managed without training pants at all really. I used to carry a couple of prefolds with me to mop up in case she had a wee accident when out but fortunately she never did.

We've tried just pants a few times and he's really not ready.
