Is this the end?

... Of daytime cloth nappies??

Yesterday morning Eleanor was playing in James' room with a bare bottom because we'd just taken her nappy of as she was needing a bath (she'd been drawing with felt tips on her body!!)

DH and I were in the other bedroom getting dressed. DH went to look in on them both as it had gone quiet and Eleanor was sat on the potty!
And she'd done a wee!

No prompting, just quietly all by herself.


So we've given it a go this morning and there have been a few dribbles - but one big wee on the potty!!!

My little girl is growing up!

Now to find some pants that will fit her teeny bottom and hips!

Well done Eleanor! It always amazes me how quickly they just 'get it'

What size is she Jen? I found that tescos sold 2 year old undies that were small enough for Riley, they might have even been 18month to 2 years old size.

She's in 12-18 trousers with her big cloth bottom!! And that's only for the length really - we have the waist on the tightest setting and usually a belt too!

The skirts which fit on the waist are 6-9 months!

I can see this little girl wearing a lot of dresses from now on!

@docmaggoo Riley was/is exactly the same, last summer when she was 3 she was in age 18 month leggins, its really hard when they are so skinny and small.

I think now at almost 4 she's just started fitting into age 3 jeans but only the ones with the internal belt. Last year she needed a belt on everything.

Oooo exciting stuff.

Dd1 was/ is skinny and still even now would prefer a skirt of leggings as trousers don t fit.

We got knickers from primark when she was training about the same age and although they said 2-3 they were tiny. That was 3 years ago not sure if they still do them.
