Bedbugs

Postby 0_Lisa_0 » Sun Aug 16, 2009 12:18 pm

Just a couple of question as I ahve one coming to try out (at last) Does it need a wrap, if so what works best? and how will I know how many inserts to use to start with or will it just be a bit of trial and error in the beginning??
Thanks everyone

Yes, a Bedbug needs a wrap (or wool) as it's a fitted. It comes with two lay-in soakers. DD is quite a light wetter overnight, but we need to use both soakers as, having a MF core, Bedbugs aren't the most absorbent nappies you can get. We always use wool at night, so I can't help with what wrap to use over them, sorry.

As you know I use wool overnight but before that I used to use ME Rikkis or similar overnight and you might need to size up to accommodate the night nappy as they're usually more bulky than daytime fitteds.

Thanks, so now I have to learn about wool, my poor frazled little brain :giggle:
Allie- what size wool do you think I would need??
Where do I get it from  oh, I'm so clueless :giggle:

Wool is really simple once you get your head around the fact that it works :). I've loads of wool so can loan you some shorties or longies to try that will fit Austin if you like?

Well I'm just trying to buy some off the classifieds now, but I don't know if a 16" waist would be too small? I'm absolutely rubbish with measurements :-?

Dexter is a 16" waist so I'd have thought it would be fine :)

Wen Notions and Stacinator fleece wraps fit nicely over bedbugs too. We have toddler size and use XL WN wraps and Toddler sized Stacinator wraps.
