Hi Ladies,

I have a 5yr old and 3yr old both in disposable pull-ups at night with no sign of either being dry any time soon (my 3yr old has the odd dry night). I hate wasting money on the pull-ups, especially for my 5yr old because he's actually in pj pants and they're so expensive (he's too big for normal, cheaper pull-ups). I'm therefore thinking about getting them both in to reusable bedwetter pants and just wondered if anyone has any recommendations, especially for heavy wetters as my 5yr olds pj pants are always really full in the morning. I'm also hoping that they'll help with getting them both dry at night.

Most of the ones that I've seen so far are quite pricey (Super Undies & ME) and buying for two means that we can't afford to do too much in the way of trial and error so would ideally like to get some based on recommendations. The Slinki Minki Yoyo's seem to be the cheapest (at almost 1/2 the price of the others mentioned) so I'd be interested to hear any feedback on those.

ummm....dont know if you would be happy to try this but it worked brilliantly with my daughter... I bought a few pairs of training pants, ie the brightbots ones or the plain old mothercare/boots ones that are washable and put a tesco value sanitary towel in them for nights. the sanitary towels are only about 19p for a pack of ten, the pants are washable and absorbant too and they feel more like pants with a safety net then pull ups that are barnkrupt worthy expensive! The sanitary towels can be chucked away and imo are like incontenance pads but for a child who is training!

Thanks for the suggestion, but I also like the fact that with the bedwetter pants that there would be no having to dispose of anything. I may have to see if I can find some cheap pre-loved bedwetter pants to try out.
