• 3 X Little Lamb Baby Grow / Vest Extenders

o The 3 poppers are 9mm in diameter and positioned 15-20mm apart (there is some sideward stretch to this product.) Will fit most brands of baby clothes (except Frugi, Green Baby, some Baby Gap, Wilkinsons, and Mini Mode).

Cloth nappies are usually bulkier than disposables, especially boosted night time nappies. This can make standard baby vests tight or too short to easily popper up underneath the crotch. Vest extenders allow extra room for a cloth nappy or just to accommodate a tall/long baby. You can of course put baby in a baby vest that is the next size up, but the issue with this is that the vest is then often very loose around the neck. Vest extenders popper to the bottom of the baby vest and add approx. 4 inches (10cm) to the overall length.

For a pooey nappy the terry side is ideal, as the fabric loops grip the poo for a quick and thorough clean up. The fleece side is ideal for finishing up or wet only nappies as it's so smooth and soft. The fleece side is also perfect to use during teething when skin can become more sensitive. The edges are fully bound making them long lasting.
The wipes are approx. 15cm x 20cm, which is a perfect size for clean ups and fully covers your hands. The Nappy Lady wipes are bigger than other best-selling brands making them better for Dad's larger hands too!
How To Use Washable Wipes:
You can store the washable wipes in a Tupperware box so they are wet and ready to go. As they are used you can put them in the nappy bucket and wash with the nappies (up to 60 degrees). There is no need to dry them when they come out of the wash. Just put them back in the Tupperware box, add some more water to make them damp and they're ready again. They won't go stale or stagnant as you'll go through them too quickly. A full time set of 40 wipes will last approx. 15-20 nappy changes.
Many people who do not use cloth nappies still use washable wipes, as they are so much kinder on the skin and the pocket.”

We love Muslins as new-born nappies as they make such slim line nappies and give you enough absorbency for changing every 2 hours which is the recommended change frequency for a new-born. This larger size muslin can still be folded into our favourite Jo Fold (see the demo video in [Nappy Lady Website] advice section) but the Disana 80cm muslin gives you a bit higher absorbency ideal for a baby that is feeding really well and wetting lots. These larger muslins offer perfect absorbency for using over naps and hopefully a slightly longer sleep during the night without having to add a booster. You secure your folded muslin nappy with a Nappi Nippa and use a Motherease rikki xs or small wrap over the top.
Muslins are used so regularly as mop up cloths and burp cloths these days (for which they are excellent), people forget that they used to be known as "muslin nappies".

• 3 X Nappi Nippas (Snappis) Muslin Nappy Clips

o From Retailer Site “A Nappi Nippa is a plastic T-shaped grip used instead of pins on traditional Terries, some shaped nappies, muslins or even prefolds. It is not suitable for use with flannelette or with stretch terry nappies such as the Motherease range.
Nappi Nippas are a fabulous invention and fiendishly simple: just a plastic T shape with little claws at each of the three ends. Simply hook one claw into the terry fabric roughly over one thigh (while holding the nappy together with the other hand), stretch over to the other thigh and catch into the loops of the fabric there, then pull the last claw down to catch at the fabric between the legs. The resulting grip should be Y shaped if it has enough tension.
Nippas are much faster to use than pins, and provide a nicely balanced secure fastening, which gives the nappies they are used with a high degree of containment. You have total adjustability both up-down as well as left-right, it is hard to beat the fit that Nippas offer.

The fit of the Little Lamb has been altered and offers a fantastic fitting nappy. The leg is tight enough to prevent leaks but not too tight to create any chaffing. They use the softest elastic that is gentle on baby’s skin but is robust enough to last. The waist is also elasticated to help contain any explosions.
Each nappy comes with a double layer cotton booster to increase absorbency further.
All Little Lamb nappies fasten with Velcro making them extremely simple to use. Many people have a mix of Little Lamb nappies so that they have some bulkier but super fast drying Microfibre and slimmer but slower drying Little Lamb Bamboo nappies.
Our Opinion -Little Lamb microfibre are very soft and will always remain soft even in hard water areas. They also dry super fast and are ideal if you have limited drying facilities or don’t want to use a tumble dryer. The Little Lamb Microfiber will come out of the washing machine almost dry and will need a quick dry on a line. They are also not an expensive nappy. The microfibre fabric is knitted onto the nappy base rather than weaved to ensure it doesn’t shrink and I would say it is the longest lasting nappy fabric of all nappy fabrics available.
Our Tips – Use a bamboo booster to increase the absorbency.
Washing – wash between 40° and 60°. Can be tumble dried on a low heat.”

Fastening - It is Velcro fastening to provide a snug fit and an alternative option to the Mother-ease airflow with poppers.
The only thing I would say is that any Velcro wrap looks more worn at the loop Velcro after time, although the performance is not affected. It is important to do the wings up before each wash, so the Velcro does not catch on other things. The one downside of this wrap is the lack of a Velcro “foldback” to protect it. I think it is a good idea to do the wrap up and turn it inside out - this stops the hook side from catching on anything, and also protects the loop side from wear and tear.”

o Nappy’s are in ‘very’ used clean but usable condition, the Binding on the edges has worn/split all around, and also the lining behind the poppers has deteriorated.

It really is highly absorbent which is something many all in one nappy’s aren’t. This means you don’t have to change this nappy any more frequently than you would a two-part nappy. It has 2 layers of absorbency but rather than these all being sewn together and making a really slow drying nappy, parts of the inner absorbency are only sewn at the front and back. This allows room for an additional booster if necessary (it shouldn’t be) but also speeds drying as more air can circulate around the layers.
The Elemental has the stretchy tabs BumGenius is famous for, these help ensure a snug fit. The nappy fits birth to potty (9-35lbs) and is easily adjusted into three length settings by using the poppers on the front body of the nappy.
