for 6-12m sets... -updated with nappy request!!

what size should shorties be?

i have some lovely sets in mind and am just trying to decide on the measurements of the shorties for them.

I had been thinking approx 18"waist, 17"rise, 21" hips and 3" inseam, but i don't know whether that will fit for the majority of that age group or not!

help please!

I was wondering if any of the nappy wahms would be interested in making a coordinating nappy for these sets? if so, pm me and i'll let you in on more details!!

A 3" inseam on Summer would be crops!!

that sounds like a perfect fit for sam but he is a big 13 month old but feel free to do them in size 12-18 month

I measured Iris at the end of March, when she’d just turned 10 months old.

Her measurements are:

Waist – 16" (17" with a night nappy)
Rise – 16" (17" with a night nappy)
Hips – 19.5" (20.5" with a night nappy)
Inseam (to knee) - 4"

She’s pretty much on the 50th percentile for height, but only the 9th for weight (she’s a tall, skinny Minnie!). Personally, I like a high rise. So I’d say a slightly higher rise, otherwise the measurements you’ve given sound good. HTH.

I'm sure something could be arranged I'm hoping to sell them in May as part of BBM if all goes to plan!! (to be honest i'm always just happy if things sell!) First pair of shorties is almost finished... just need to sort the other matching bits to go with it! And the wool is nearly spun for the other two sets (yup, two will be handspun wool!) so i'll be starting on those soon!!

Oh, May would be perfect! (Iris' birthday is 27th May.) Something girly in mind?!
