We get ours at work from printing.com so I go to a specific branch in Glasgow. That's where I get any of mine as well and normally I make the artwork up myself (my degree is in graphic design). They'll do artwork for you for a fee. They have offers on each month so it's a good way of getting everything you need over the months.

Business cards are on offer at the moment or they have a promo for stationary packs.

That's the only place I'd go to for that type of thing unless I was going to a specific printers directly for a small print run or a specific print design brief. Their costs are low as they are a franchise type model and then all items get sent to print centrally.

Their file supply guide in the resources section tells you basically the specs you'd need to provide if getting the artwork done yourself or getting someone else to supply it.

I get mine from Vista Print. They very often have free offers, I have never actually paid for any of my business cards, return labels, banners for my stall, postcards, compliment cards etc :giggle: Just the postage cost for them!

We use Vistaprint as well!!

Never pay for anything other then postage, which seems a bit steep, but seeing as everything is free.

Although they do charge when you upload an image, if doing this with several, if you want them all in the same place on a card, create an image with all the seperate ones then just upload one image.

Be careful about joining the site though as apparently there is a subsciption based bit which is about £10 a month.

Oh and be prepared for your inbox to be hit daily with further offers

Another vote for printing.com. We do IT support for some of the Edinburgh branches and use them for printing. Excellent choice, prices and customer service. :D

Another vote for Vistaprint. I've not had any problems with anything I've ordered and couldn't justify the cost from other places.

I've used VistaPrint and they annoyed the life out of me!
The prices they give you at the outset are brilliant. I made up some cards using my own logo and image and the like - expecting it to come to about £10.
They then sting you on extortionate p&p (like £11 for 500 cards and 500 return address labels!) by that time I had spent hours on the design and didn't have the time to repeat the process elsewher - so they had me. I guess that's how they do it.
They then sent me a dispatch notice a full 2 weeks before the items arrived. They didn't respond to me emails and their general CS was completely non existent.

I know that's probably a bad experience and I can believe I'm in the minority -but I won't be using them again. I felt utterly conned by the whole thing.
