Rotary cutters???

Postby clairelana » Fri Jan 08, 2010 9:57 am

Can anyone recomend a good one?
With so many to choose from I can't decide.

I want one that will cut a few layers of fabric at once.

TIA

Hi, i have a 28 mm OLFA , which is quite a small diameter blade but suits me
Got mine from the patchwork shop in the next village along with an Omnigrid mat, an absolute joy compared to cutting out nappies with a pair of blunt kitchen scissors :hohoho:

WHy dont you go on the olfa site and read what they each are used for. You may get more of an idea what you want to use yours for ;) You may then decide two or three different ones would suit you best. Buying something that suits someone one else may not meet your particular needs.

I've got olfa ones. They are fab - cutting is sooooo much easier than with scissors.

I have one of these...

And a couple of these as spares

I've had a couple of other, cheaper makes but they've broken. The Olfa ones seem to be the most robust :)
