WAHM to knit me some Alpaca Socks?

Can anyone knit socks with Alpaca?
DH bought me some for Christmas and I've not done anything with it yet...

I think it's sock yarn (or thin DK either way) and I'd love some socks but I'm not really experienced enough to do socks from it...

I know some people are allergic to Alpaca - so that's why I'm asking specifically

I'd be interested as well, I've posted another thread (sorry didn't see this Steph!) but my babyboo has an alpaca mix to it....

I'd love to knit socks for you, especially using yummy alpaca ! Although I'm not an official WAHM, I've knit loads of stuff (including socks) over the years both for myself and others. I also knit Sugarbubbie Ridinghoods & Sleuthings for Hollow Oak and have a licence to knit Marisols and Arabellas. My projects are here on Ravelry. Let me know if you'd like me to help

just had a nose, especially love the 2nd batch of cupcakes and the toddler swing coat (which I then searched all over ravelry to add the pattern to my 550 favourites and THEN saw it was a personal pattern DOH)
