Dye for OBV?

Am looking to dye my own OBV, but not sure on what dye to buy...it can't be that hard can it?? :hohoho:

Yeah should easy enough, think you can use procion dyes, if your looking for something a bit more natural, I guess dylon would work just as well, I would do a test piece just to be sure! Maybe on an obv wipe if you haven't got spare fabric!

Good luck, what kind of colour were you thinking? (just being nosey!)

I've used Dylon cold water dyes on OBV with great success :D I use the LWI method mainly.

I used dylon and made some wipes with it, it came out very nice but after 3 months of pretty much daily washing the colours are starting to fade a bit... still looking nice though!

I use procion dyes. you can get them from ebay. they give a much better result than dylon IMO

wss! Dylon are good if you use the machine dyes but using the hand dyes can give mixed results, I find and the colours are more prone to fading. Procion dyes are much more reliable but can be a bit tricky to get used to when you first start off with them.
