Newborn head circumferance?

can someone give me some rough idea of an average head circ for a newborn wool stretches so a rough idea should be fine

Average is 35cm/14inches

Dd1 was 34 and dd2 was 38 hth x

I was just about to say Darcy's was 54cm but that was her length her head circumference was 37cm! I am going to aim for knitting for 35-37cm and like you said there is plenty of stretch in wool

brilliant thanks ladies will go for 35-36! the pattern ive got you knit the head band first them pick up stitches from that so theres no guide just says measure your babies head, which atm if prob about 5cm??
