How much yarn for a medium soaker?

Whilst I am thinking about soakers, was just wondering how much yarn you would need for a medium snapdragon soaker? I made a large out of less than 100g, and was wondering if I might just squeeze a medium out of 50g, or would that not be enough?

I was thinking this the other day and i think the consensus was that you might be able to squeeze one out of 50g tho that may not include an icord.

Obv if you have any scraps or a diff trim for waist & legs then 50 for main body will be fine.

Thanks Rox I think I should have enough scraps to do an icord, so will give it a go and if its not enough I can always frog it back and start again with a small

I wouldn't get a medium from 50g. I might be able to if I used a trim for waist and legs

Just checked and I used 75g for the last medium soaker I made.

it probably depends on what they are calling a medium. Mine would be 20" hips and 18" rise but i have seen some patterns where a medium is much smaller.

Ah yes I would trust you Ali more than google too it's ok I will just make smalls from what I have for now as will need smalls anyway x

Agree with Ali and no chance of getting a decent sized medium out of 50g - the Snapdragon soaker pattern is very small fitting iirc - their medium would be more like a small.
