Holiday knitting projects

Top is for some new longies for Holly, bottom right is a jumper with a pirate motif for Austin, bottom centre will be socks for me, bottom left is an Oriental Lily for Holly I think. It's to take with us to the beach in a week or so (there is every possibility that I will have already started or finished a couple of those by then  ) but I fear I haven't got enought :-?
Why are your holiday knitting plans?

Beautiful

We are going away on Sunday very last minute so I haven't had time to order any more yarn so I shall just be taking this cardigan to finish for bump and a hat to match.

I am guessing I won't get much knitting time this week anyway with us staying at the in laws, but really need to get myself sorted with yarn for our holiday at the beginning of August as guessing we will have more relaxation time, but I have no funds at all at the moment so will need to see what funds I can gather together this week!!

Didn't take you long to wind it lol We're off to London for 3 days, I think I'm going to take the yarn for the FASC with me and some yarn for a jumper for Callum both from the MM coop to knit whilst travelling. It's a month away so will hopefully get an Annis and Hypernova done to wear on our trip plus 2 pairs of longies for Callum.

That happened to me with the same base but a different colourway (Tropical Waters) but is was a 150g skein. :loopy: I had to take it slow with the Stormy Rainbow I wound for myself, I was in no rush to repeat the tangled mess again. :giggle: It knits well though. It's the same base I used for the knit swap.

It's the reason I stopped buying LLS yarns  it would get me every time! I'm going to cast it on now, can't wait over a week to play, it's going to be pretty lacy socks :D

I took four 50g balls to do some squares for a blanket for the Mouse and did one square, which I then had to frog because I had dropped a stitch. Gah! I'm knitting a project for myself atm, which is a long hard slog kind of thing, but I am totally in love with it, so don't think the blanket will get done for a while!
