Pattern for patchwork baby blanket?

Hi Ladies- Can anyone recommend a nice pattern for a patchwork baby blanket? Nothing too complicated, but with nice individual squares- ta x

I would just do individual squares and then sew them together.

Halfknits has some lovely 6 " square patterns, I've done one or two and they are nice and very effective once seamed.

I usually do a google image search for inspiration and work out a pattern myself on paper to work with the fabric I have. Or do lots of different blocks, then stitch them together. My favourite 'pattern' is trip around the world.

Thanks ladies. Downloaded the patches and bought 6x50g balls of silk/ cashmere at £5 a ball. So hope it turns out! Gone with a nice light lime green, light grey, piglet pink and good olde cream.
