Thank you, I'll give them a try... At this rate I'd better start knitting more longies though, So far I have 2 pots of lanolin and now have 2 bottles of wash on the way.. At least DH won't pinch this stuff for his running! :hohoho:

Love Baby Powder, we had Ewe Need It balms and pail powder in that scent. It's so scrummy.

I use woolishous on all my woollies and all my customers woolies and never had a problem. I don't particularly like the small of blueberry muffin personally because i think it smells biscuity :giggle: I like strong floral scents but thats personal preference. Just had a good sniff and my lansinoh definately smells more sheepy than any of the scented lanolin i have. 24 hours should fine for soaking so dont think its the water.

Have you tried the baby powder one yet ? x

I've got another pair soaking in the baby powder at the moment... Not the same wool but at least I'll know if that smells better to me!

The others aren't smelling quite so strong as they're drying more but there's very definately no hint of fruit or biscuits... DS says they smell of sheep poo :giggle: and I have to say he's not far wrong!!

 Some of my woollies can smell a bit like that sometimes when wet. It should be fine once they are dry though. I don't really rate Woolishous either but lots of people seem to be happy with it. My favourite is Ewe Need It amaretto or cherry almond.

Well I've taken the second pair out of soak and they smell of baby powder!! :yahoo:

The stinky ones are completely dry now, have been aired outside and still smell a bit sheepy but there's no trace at all of blueberries so I guess the wool smell has overpowered it! :(

The cherry almond sounds gorgeous Louise so I'm off to search now :D
