Romper pattern with feet.

Postby Bugglyboo » Fri Aug 31, 2012 3:11 pm

I want to knit acorn some rompers but as he/she will be a February baby I'd much prefer them to have feet until acorn is about 3 months. I will also be making some boots for the non romper days but it would be so much easier to not have to worry about boots.

So, does anyone know a pattern using Aran weight yarn that has feet on the romper?

I don't think I've seen any knitted rompers with feet (I am not a knitter so there may be a pattern out there somewhere but it doesn't look like its common) I just had knitted booties and used them. I found that rompers lasted longer that way as with feet they tend to outgrow the inseam more quickly. Could you maybe adapt a pattern and add some feet on??

Thanks Louise. I may have to adapt a pattern then.
I did find a pattern on rav but I was using sport weight yarn which is far too thin for my patience.

Ooh you could make detachable booties. K had a fabulous pair of convertible Droopy Drawers longies where the extra length was attached with an icord. Maybe you could do similar?

could you knit some socks in the same colour so it LOOKS like it has feet? that way you would get a little more growth out of it too, providing the socks are nice and long.

i personally cant knit socks
