It's 80% wool and 20% nylon. Do you think that would be ok for dungarees? I mainly use pockets or fitteds and wraps under dungies so they don't have to have mega waterproofness. Will they be fairly hard-wearing? @fivefourfour

You can get that yarn in different thicknesses i think.

I've found it in aran and chunky in the same colours. If you are using over pockets anyway, there is no reason why you couldn't use sock, but the aran would knit up much quicker :giggle:

Yes you can. I'd go for the mochi plus which is Aran weight I think. Do you think the 80% wool 20% nylon would be ok for dungies.? I mean Would it be hard wearing enough for my little crawler? (I really know very little about wool etc :oops: ). It really is the perfect colourway for my project.

Definitely if you are using them as clothing rather than a cover. The nylon will just make them a bit more hard-wearing.

I'm drooling over the rainbows now...must shut the window.
