I don't get the acrylic hate at all, I made my self a jumper in some pure wool and I have to say it was the most awful horrible disgusting wool I have ever had the misfortune to meet!!! I have also work with some truly yummy acrylic, so I think it's all down to what you get ;)

I am currently knitting this cardi for Amelie
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library ... d-cardigan

It knitted up very quickly, I then divided for front & back & worked my way up the right front but everytime I do the neck decreases I loose the pattern & I can't for the life of me figure out where I am going wrong. I been leaving it a few days & then ripping back & making the same mistake. I've ripped back 6 times now :x I know it's something simple but I keep making the same mistake obviously

Anyway I've started teaching a friend to knit which has really got me excited about knitting again

I dunno, I would say a good 90% of my stash is WAHM stuff and that's certainly what I use most if the time. A good example would be a scarf I made recently, there is nothing wrong with it, the yarn has a beautiful sheen and hangs wonderfully but it's 100% sugar cane and really squeaky and horrid to knit with. The 100% wool in question is still very stiff, was squeaky to work and very rough, the jumper I made is nice enough but the brand of wool in question will not be bought or recommended by me unless every other knitable fibre vanishes off the face of the planet!

Ahhhhh, bum. Just realised I don't think I have all the needles I need for this pattern :( I really NEED an interchangeable set.

I have two half finished projects which doesn't help. I need to frog back the sleeve on Martha's My Honey as I don't like the bell shape at all and I think they make the cardi look unbalanced, it will look much better with a straight sleeve.

And I am on the bodice band on an Oriental Lily for Martha - I have kitted the body once already but it was too wide so I frogged it, so I'm effectively knitting the same thing again. I absolutely adore the colourway I am knitting that in tho so I really need to crack on and finish it.

I might also cast on a Mama Vertebrae for me, I do like that style of cardi.

Oh I've been promising myself I'm going to knit myself a Mama Vertebrae once I lost weight Ruth :) I think that might be my next big project. It's my birthday next month so I might ask for the yarn for it as a present. (Not that I wouldn't just buy it anyway, but I would be over the moon to get yarn for my birthday)
I've knitted an oriental lily for my cousin's baby and got bored with the skirt part. I'm terrible for that
I'm almost at the arms split on the Peter I'm knitting, I love the way the yarn is knitting up @evansmummy :)
