How much yarn for dungarees & longies?

Would need size large, no pattern yet, but how much yarn would I need for each of these?

I made James some pt'd trained longies with 50g trim and 200g of colourway

That was plenty of yarn and I had a bit left over.

i was going to say about 250Gs

how are you make them for hun

I neeeeeeeed a pair for Emmet

He only has a soaker & shorties atm but I so want something else. Can't afford yarn for both right now but can stretch to one of them

what pattern are you wanting to do as i have the jungle gym, bayside brichers, chickedees and the overall ones so can look at how much you will need if you want.

200g plus 50g trim is plenty for large longies. I've never knitted dungarees though so can't help you there I'm afraid.

Yep my large are 22" hip, 20" rise and 10" inside leg and take approx 200g plus 50g trim - depending on the pattern of the dungarees, I would probably add another 50g
