I'm after starting to knit again after having a break of about a year, and my poor index finger and thumb are suffering for it . I'm having to rebuild callouses on them and it's not fun, I have a tiny split in the skin on my thumb and it's sorrrrre BOOHOO! I think my choice of needles isn't helping my cause though, knitpro symfonies are sharp!
Is there anything I can do other than just keep going? I don't really want to put plasters on or anything as that's just delaying the inevitable .
No point in posting really, I just need to tell people that understand my pain . If I say it to DH he'll just tell me that if I'm looking for sympathy, it's in the dictionary, between s**t and sy**ilis
