Sock Patterns for circular needles

I use 30cm needles for socks. The first few rows are a bit tricky s i do sometimes start with a few rows in DPNs. I just use any patterns though and put markers where you would change needles so that i still have the same sections as in the pattern.

I wanted to make some socks for myself too and wanted to use magic loop as dont have DPNs and dont really fancy buying any. I was trying to work out the other day how to do a pattern in magic loop that is explained on DPNs and how you divide the stitches etc, so would I just put markers in between the stitches and count each section as if it was on a seperate DPN @babyroo ??

Me too have another 3 xmas presents to knit, then a cardigan and a jumper for Darcy then I will have a go...if nothing else more exciting comes up in my to do list, I never get round to knitting anything for myself!!

Yes put a marker after how ever many stitches would be on each needle.

I used an infant sock pattern on Rav that was using circs. I did another pattern too but @tracedw converted the pattern for me so that I could magic loop

id like to make socks too using magic loop, i hate dpn, havent been able to find one yet.
