Hotshot vest - yarn amount?

Want to knit a hot shot vest for bump for Christmas if I find the time so will probably want to do 3-6 month size with a hood. Also, wondering whether to knit one for Darcy with some yarn I have here, but again want to check how much yarn I would need first, would need 2 years size or probably the 23 inch chest size for her. Just wondering if anyone has knitted this pattern in these sizes before, or has the pattern so can check for me how much yarn I would need before I go ahead and buy the pattern! Thanks

I did the vest for Noah with under 200g - for the hoody with hood for age 2 I'd say 400g max, @Scotia will know!

I did an age 8 vest with hood for Ross with 300g of DK, so 200g is plenty. I made Kerr a l/s hoodie with 300g in age 2-4
