My square topped hat pattern: testers pattern ready

Mine just seems massive what gauge should it be ? I have 12 stitches per 2 inches using 4 mm needles for the st st

I haven't put it in the pattern I will have to find my original wherever it is packed away! Sorry! I have a feeling it may be 26 sts per 4" but it might be 24 which would make you about right.
Maybe others could let me know what their gauge was/is

Mine is 4st per inch on 4mm in DK. It seems a lot out from both of you. To be honest I never do a guage swatch lol.
