I've finished. How to block?

Postby LynniferT » Sun Nov 04, 2012 9:23 pm

Ok... Well after starting it a few months ago, getting bored and frustrated and then restarting it again 2 weeks ago, i have finished DD's little sister dress :yahoo: :yahoo:

It's not exactly perfect but here it is...

It does say to block it though... How is best to do it?

I know i prob shouldnt have put the buttons on before blocking, but i was on a roll and wanted to get it finished :giggle:

Well done!! Lovely dress.

I'm only a beginner, but have found two recommendations for blocking, one is just by washing and shaping, the other uses steam.

Which way would be best for stopping the bottom curling up?

I find steaming quicker, both work well though :)
