Quick boys knits

I need to find something really quick and straight forward to knit for a friends little boy who is 3 weeks old, so probably something in 3 month size. I am just about to finish a benedick and beatrice vest for another friend, but it seems to be taking forever as it isn't as easy to knit whilst Noah with all the separate bits and pieces when it comes to the neckline, so looking for something that is knit in 1 piece really in the round, then just needs sleeves adding. Any suggestions? Really want to get it posted to her before xmas so dont have much time to get sorted. Was thinking of doing a hoodless hotshot as was planning on buying the pattern anyway to knit one for Noah, is it a quick knit? Any other suggestions?

Yes the hotshot is quick and easy. I've just knitted a Paxton cardi for our little Noah and that's quick and straightforward too

They are doing well, baby is having a bit of trouble feeding but they are getting home tonight so I'm delighted about that

Aww, hopefully feeding gets easier for them both, be great for them to be home and settled as a wee family in time for Christmas x
