If you could ask for any wool/yarn, what would it be?

Someone I know has had the most godawful year and then didn't get any Christmas presents. I'd really like to send her some lovely threads for her new interest in crochet, but I'm not sure where to start. I know I'm not going to fix anything in her life, but at least she will have a Christmas present.

She's not keen on colourways, but loves textures. Any ideas anyone?
