Do diffarent needles change how you knit?

Postby Shaunie » Sun Jan 06, 2013 3:40 pm

I only ever had cheap circs until several months back when I bought some Knit Pro one's which I love. I do think that I knit diffarently with them though because the longies I have made for Emmet look huge! I must be knitting looser on them do you think? :-?

I definitely knit differently on different needles.
On my addi click lace set my tension is about spot on, but I'm much tighter if I use dpns or the odd pair of bamboo straights I have.

Yes!! The same thing with me too. Although the stitches are bigger i do think the tension is more consistent and theyre also a pleasure to use. Looks like emmet has some growing to do then ;-)

I knit completely differently on wood than on metal.
