37 yo, 27 weeks pregnant. Is it too late?

Is it too late to learn how to knit? Anybody in Bedford would teach me or know where I can learn? All the cute things you guys have made! I wish I listened to my Mum when I was young

I only learnt to knit after joining CNT. There are heaps of great resources online. Look at http://www.knittinghelp.com/ for lots of handy videos explaining different techniques in detail. There's also lots of great information in the stickies at the top of this forum. And the ladies here are really, really helpful. We have lots of knitters (including some WAHMs) who happily answer new knitter questions. Joining a class is always a good way to learn, but it's not essential. You can get by with Youtube and tutorials online.

I learned how to knit again when my son was nearly 1!!
I find the knitwitch videos on YouTube really useful and easy to follow and there is always someone here to answer questions!

Of course not we will all help you. I learned with the help of my mum, MIL and online friends. You tube is brilliant too. I would highly recommend starting with the snapdragon soaker first we can talk you through it Can you knit and purl?

I'm in mk and want to learn, there is a fab knitting shop in Olny with classes and the lady is very friendly. I would go if it was closer to me. Not sure if you have any yarn shops in Bedford but they may be able to direct you to a knitting circle.
