You could just about do it with 100g of colourway and 50g of trim if you use DK. Probably a bit more for aran.

I think last night I was thinking I needed to come back up the far side not along the CO as it says :hohoho: see Sim's point 1 :giggle: I think it is right now, it certainly looks like the bottom of a shawl!

Thats my only other proper thing I've knitted :giggle:

I've just twigged in the last row or so that that wasn't the tip as I thought, I'm knitting from the big end aren't I :hohoho: quick me :giggle:

A useful tip... I now put a lifeline in once I get to stockinette sections or garter stitch sections (not everytime, but every few inches or so) just in case I mess up - means I only have to rip back to the lifeline
