Felted crochet slippers - update page 2

Has anyone made any? My feet are freezing and I thought they would be perfect but as usual can't decide on a pattern!

I really like these ones by Bonny Woods has anyone done these?

They look nice. I've always wanted to try some too, maybe this year I will get round to it!

I'm in the middle of knitting myself some slippers - but they are too big , so I'm going to have to felt them to shrink them down.
I'm very nervous about doing it!

OK OK I bought the pattern

Sadly I have no wool that matches the gauge other than a quite bright variegated and I really love them in plain wool and earthy colours but needs must - I really wanted to start tonight even though it is debatable if I have enough to even finish (don't worry I'll weight when I have finished shoe one and if I haven't enough to finish I'll frog it and go buy the right stuff tomorrow!)! I have got about 1/2 way through the 1st one and it looks big so I hope it felts OK I'm actually a bit confused as it says to use a 5mm hook or 5.5 if you crochet tight (although the comments had lots of people saying they needed to go up to to a 6) but I've needed to use a 8mm to get the gauge

I'm scared too Jen! I have done bowls before but never anything that needs to fit I think just do it little at a time until you get there!

I never buy patterns either ! I'm a bit of a wing it kinda gal too so would just knit up & see

They look lovely! Good luck with the felting they will shrink down a lot, but if you start with a gentler wash you can control the finished size more
