Do you prefer fixed or interchangable needles?

I have no idea what I've done but my cables have snapped where they join the needle casing so I need to buy some more.

I can't decide fixed or interchangable . I have both but it's the 2 interchangable that have snapped. I do find that I have to tighten the cable during knitting though which annoys me!

I love my interchangeables.

What set of interchangables do you have?
My knit pros have keys to lock the tips on to the cable - if I don't use them, then I find they do come undone whilst knitting.

My absolute favourite -go-to needles are my metal addi lace tips. I love that they are shorter.
I use my wooden knit pros for lace weight yarn as I find it them more grippy.

I prefer interchangeable but then i've only got 3 fix ones for sleeves and legs so there 30cm length ones and find the so hard going

I have knit pros. I decided to order their started set as it was the cheaper option to keep me going for a while. I never seem to be able to tighten with the key properly I think - perhaps I should look to see what I'm doing wrong!
