Which do you prefer, solid, liquid or spray? I have only ever used solid but fancy a change!

@Shaunie I loved the liquid stuff as a top up one as it made my longies smell lovely (I got some nice smelly stuff) but I still used the solid lanolin as that is the stuff that really gets them well bomb proof. I have never used it but I understand that it is great as a between wash top up and not as a replacement for wash or solid. HTH's :D

I use solid mostly but am tempted to try a spray for in between top ups...

I am currently using solid lanolin and wool wash bars from Elijah Blue and shaving a bit off the bars to emulsify the lanolin. The blackberry and vanilla is scrummy!

I love liquid but it's really hard to get hold of. The spray for me doesn't do it enough for Leon's wool but is fab for hats for I case it rains :D I like the solid stuff for Leon's stuff and his heavy wetting

Being a woolly WAHM, I must answer this! Solid lanolin and Soluble Lanolin (which is new, but as easy to use as fabric conditioner) are absolutely the best for lanolising nappy covers. Liquid lanolin works but is not nearly as efficient at waterproofing, as to make it liquid they remove all the solid fats from it, and it is these which make the waterproofing qualities best. So liquid lanolin will do the cleaning bit, but will not waterproof as effectively.

Incidentally you can also add a drop of soluble lanolin to your wash solution to top up between washes.
