Relearning hold- needles and yarn.

My current Needle hold requires me to let go of my needles to wrap the yarn so...I'm trying to relearn a new hold and yarn hold-
Not an easy task!
How do you hold your needles and yarn? Any tips great fully received!

I taught myself to knit a couple of years ago using you tube and the continental hold, I found it much easier that the English way that I'd done as a teenager, I think because I now crochet and it is the same sort of hold. You tube is great because you can play and pause over and over until you get it!

I knit the 'English' way.
I would love to learn continental style - as it's much quicker and easier.

I knit English style but have tried continental too - my gauge goes to pot with continental but I expect that's just a matter of practising.

Well... I'm having a big operation in a few weeks an will be resting for a good few weeks after so I'm going to practice! X

I learnt continental last year, I find it much easier than English. Like Tory says it's very similar to crochet.

I can crochet quite fast so maybe I should try the continental method x
