Wool brands.

I've used drops yarn and I've got some from felt fusion but can anyone reccomend some others? Both 100% wool for longies and some nice soft acrylic for other clothes. I find myself looking at all the names but not knowing what to pick!

I personally love organic merino wool for babies , then hand dyed, there are a squillion hand dryers out there mostly on etsy.

For acrylic I like Debbie bliss baby

The best thing would be to find a yarn shop , where do you live ?

For acrylic I've been using Special by Stylecraft as they have lots of great colours and they are pretty soft, not expensive and easy to get online, it is a DK weight. Lucy from Attic 24 raves about it which is how I ended up trying it.

Cascade 220 is nice - can be used for nappy covers (any wool that is not super wash and has a high % of wool content can be) but it is a bit thinner than Aran weight. It make nice cardigans though!

I love doing things with cotton (and bamboo) yarn, and have eyed up the Rico (?) stuff on ebay - has anyone tried that? I got most of my yarn from Spotlight in Australia but no equivalent here or UK so far as I know!
