Thank you my mum just pointed out that I need to k it 2 together to get the hole. I get it now.
She's making me start again though. Lol. My ribbing was totally off.

Me again,
I've done up to and just past the eyelet row.
My ribbing isn't matching up under the holes row. I'm not really sure how to get it to match up :-?
I was thinking about unpicking it but I know it will do the same. I can't understand how its going to match up when I've K2tog on the previous row.
Here's the picture, it gets worse as it goes round :-?

It looks like you haven't done the YO right. The k2tog decreases one stitch, but the YO adds a stitch. Nothing happens with the purl stitches.

Fantastic! I get the YO thing now then thats to add the extra stitch for the next row.
I'll undo the last few rows.

Thank you

Right, I'm slowly getting what I need to start this - can anyone tell me what length circular needles I'm going to need please? What is easier, magic looping or doing the legs on a seperate set? I was thinking of getting 3.75mm and 4.5mm size needles for DK wool, does that sound right?

I love this pattern! It is great. Thanks so much for making it available for us.

I have a question. I want to knit it for my friend's baby who is due in 7 weeks? What size measurements do you think it would be best to use?

Thanks

40cm cable for the circs. I use 3.75 & 4.5 for dk. I do my legs on dpn so can't answer that.

If you want her to be able to use them right away then I'd go for 16-18". If you look here, she suggest for a size small to make the hips 14-16", the rise 14" and the inseam 7-8".
