I've never knitted from a pattern before but I can do pearl and normal knit very slowly I bought some 20cm 4cm and 4.5cm DPN's but I can see these being really fiddly, would it be worth getting some circular needles or would that be too hard for a novice?
Thanks Ladies

For circs I love my knitpros and have ordered a starter set with a few which had different length cables in. As I have not knitted any longies (yet) I am not sure which cable length you would need. But the interchangable knitpros are the only knitting needles I use now even if I knit in the straight.
As for yarn - I'd be interested in that too

Question is, am I brave enough to give knitting my own pair a go??

I want to try making these longies using circulars, what length ones will I need? I've already got a starter pack of knitpro interchangables but don't know if I've got the correct length cables.
ETA Just realised it's over a year since anyone posted on this thread! Please help!
