which reminds me i have i think 2 little balls of wool too thick to be useful to me, one is rainbow wool, the other is red. i'll dig them out tomorrow to make sure i still have them, then i will pm u for an addy if u want it, it's a bit thicker than aran, but would make a lovely flower for your blanket. i also have another ball of purples and greens i won't use, that's aran weight.x

Another hat. :giggle:

Knitted in Pixieknits Underworld to match the longies Sadie knitted a few weeks ago. Only it doesn't match so much because the colours have really pooled. I wasn't so sure about it at first but thought i'd go to the end anyway and now really like it.

Ooh very nice! Do you follow a pattern for your hats? I want to try one but just want a plain hat pattern and have trawled ravelry looking but they are all faffy!

Nope! I just measure and go.. :giggle:

I'm yet to follow a pattern, i wanted to be comfortable with the basics first so hats and scarves seemed like a good idea.

If I can do it, you can do it. It's not that hard once you get going. I started on 30cm then transferred onto DPNs when it got too tight.
