Nope, it's easy peasy. I'd say it's probably easier than the Sleuthing Hoodie, especially if you're doing a trim.

Oh Shadow, I LOVE that. I'm looking for something different to knit for Kerr and Michelle (queenie) suggested that. I think I love it even more now. Is it aran weight? What size is that one?

Thank-you, oh and for your recommendation on the addi clicks too. I'm waiting in anticipation for their arrival. :D

That is a 4yr. And yes, aran weight. It's a pretty quick knit, took me just under a week.

paintedclaws wrote:Shadow that is stunning! Is the pattern very difficult?

I've just cast on a soaked for Poppy, my first ever one so far from perfect and I'm waiting on my new needles (and yarn) so wanted to do something to pass the time..

Danika, the hat is http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library ... simple-hat - the pattern is for knitting flat, but I deducted 2 stitches, joined in the round and the trim I did one row knit, one row purl and then later for the decreases I just knitted the purl rows. Really easy, takes less than a day.

Firebird longies as requested :) Im still not sure about the colourway, i think the orange and blue arent as bright as i had expected them to be. These are just night time ones anyhoo - i will be brave enough to use my next pair as daytime ones as i think im up to standard now lol.

I finally finished bumps cardigan. This was actually my first knitting project but the pattern was wrong for adding the button holes so its been sat there unfinished for a month or two now. I absolutely love the colourway but the ribbing and things are far from perfect as it was my first project. Just need to buy some nice buttons to put on it :) Where do you all get your buttons and things? It will have to be online.

Lovely Jenna :wine:

I've not knitted anything needing buttons for ages, but how about trying ebay?
