I was shocked at just how easy it was to do. I know my work isn't perfect but its a good starting point. Knitting to a pattern is a whole new thing to learn. :giggle:

Fab soaker Carolyn.

Here's my latest project - another pair of longies for Ewan made in The Nappy Gardens yarn club for this month - falling leaves. Just noticed that the leg cuffs are uneven by one row so need to sort that this evening and then get them lanolised.

My second pair of longies are finished :) Hopefully the leg lengths are ok - i thought the last pair were equal but after he wore them a couple of times i realised they were a bit off lol - it seems difficult to get them the same!

Not to sure what to start next - i should really do something for my sisters Christmas i suppose but still not sure what lol. I still have some lovely lls yarn to make something for the baby too so might make an attempt at trying magic loop for some teeny longies.

Oh they're both lovely!

Which pattern are you using hun? My soaker has come out okay, far from perfect but i think i can manage longies now. Just have to figure out short rows..

I used Joelis pattern (the paid for one - a couple of quid of ravelry). I would say if you have managed your soaker you will manage the longies fine as i had only done a cardigan and a shawl on flats before trying longies. The short rows are actually really easy if you follow the tutorials that are bookmarked in here :)

I meant to ask - what colourway did you use for Poppys soaker? its lovely :)

Thanks hun, ill take a look when these two are napping. I have about a million hats to knit but need to ball the wool first *yawn*. Lol

The wool is Pixieknits Jester. Lovely and girly without to much pink. :)
